We came here on a Saturday night for a late dinner and waited about 15 minutes without a reservation. Street parking was easy to find. We settled on sharing a large table with another small party rather than wait longer for our own table. The space inside isn't too big and it gets fairly crowded. We tried their popular lobster rice, which almost every table seemed to order. I was honestly not incredibly impressed by it. It tasted fine but seemed to be similar to the lobster dishes I've tried at many other Chinese restaurants. I wouldn't reorder it next time I come. We also got a whole steamed fish, which was pretty average since I had high expectations given that this is a seafood restaurant. My favorite dishes were ironically all of the non-seafood items we ordered, including their sautéed green beans and soups- we tried a chicken soup and a vegetable soup and both were very authentic and warming on a cold night. For dessert, we got their milk jelly which was surprisingly really delicious since I've never had it before.

One of Chicago's best Chinese restaurants - extreme authenticity. Fast friendly service in a casual atmosphere. One of my favorite dishes is the lobster fried rice. Available in a single or double portion (half or whole lobster). It's absolutely packed with lobster meat and flavor. Also love the hot and sour soup... fresh and delicious. Note this spot is well known within the Chinese community and gets very busy. Best to go at non peak hours....

Really enjoyed the salted egg fried pumpkin. The lobster glutinous rice also had a lot of lobster. Huge portions, definitely worth the price. Update: Went back and the salted egg fried pumpkin was just as good as I remembered. We also ordered beef ribs, which were great as well. We had mango sago for dessert which was delicious and richer and creamier than expected. Would definitely come back for different salted egg dishes!

This is easily our favorite Chinese restaurant in the neighborhood! There's always a wait and they don't take reservations however, you can call them ahead of time to let them know you're coming with the number of people and they'll put you in line. The service is always great and fast. Everyone seems just happy to work there! The food is the best I've had in years and I don't go to Chinatown as much since they've opened up this location. They've kept the same decor of the restaurant from the previous restaurant and it's spacious with a couple of rooms for private dining. We live coming here for any gathering or celebrations.

One of my favourite Cantonese restaurants in the city! This is my third time here and every dish I've tried has been delicious! Lobster sticky rice is a must get! Rice is so flavorful and the fresh lobster is divine! I love the addition of Chinese sausage, ginger, and scallions in the sticky rice - definitely enhances the flavor and fragrance Oxtail stew was 10/10! The oxtails were nice and tender and the thick sauce went so well with rice! Duck with plum wine sauce is another must try dish! The sauce is sweet and savory and the roasted duck is really tender, a good mix of fat and lean! Salted egg yolk fried pumpkin - I love salted egg yolk so recommend if you do too! Service is super quick and nice ambiance for such a busy restaurant!

Amazing chinese food. they have very traditional chinese food that is stirred fried to perfection. my favorite was their pork belly stirred fried with peppers. it's a bit on the spicy side but well worth it when you throw in some rice to neutralizes the spiciness. garlic stir fried morning glory is a classic dish as well. I really enjoyed the authentic flavors here and would recommend this place to anyone. store has lots of seating and the service is quick. 10/10

It might be hard to find a parking spot nearby but I would recommend try this very authentic Cantonese style restaurant. As you might notice, their staffs all speak Cantonese. Small restaurant but got a table next to the windows. Their food is tasty. We definitely recommend their special dish: pork stomach with chicken soup. It tastes full with flavor of white pepper and warms you up in the cold winter. Their fish fillets are also special, but be cautious if you cannot tolerate with any fishy flavor. A choy are typically expected but you can choose more than four different cooking styles other can garlic. Try other styles it's very Cantonese authentic. The soup and A choy come with big portion. We cannot finish at all. Their services are good too and don't charge on white rice.

Wow!!! Delicious meal. Drive by all the time and wanted to try it. We tried to stop by last night but there was a wait. We hate to wait so we went elsewhere. We stopped for lunch today and that was the best decision. We got a table right away without a wait. The place is small, narrow and simple. They have small appetizer plate for eating, disposable chopsticks and paper cups. Most of the tables are for 2-4 people and there are 3 round tables for larger parties. The staff is friendly and very attentive. They walk around to check on tables. We ordered the double lobster over sticky rice and garlic green beans. The double lobster over sticky rice what they are known for. The food came pretty fast. And we were excited to try it. It was delicious. You can't see the rice as the lobster was on top of the rice. The seasoning and flavor was very good and the rice tasted really good. Had a little sweet taste which was surprisingly good. The green beans were just stir fried with garlic and it was amazing. So much flavor and had a nice crunch to the beans. The garlic was left as whole pieces which was nice as I'm not a garlic person so it was easy to pick out the whole clove. This place gets really busy so it will be a hit or miss in order to get a table. But that will not stop us from coming back. So many things on the menu to try.
